Run, walk, skip or jog your way around two fun and colourful courses – Run or Dye and the Electric Run – in aid of Dorset’s disability charity, Diverse Abilities during its 60th anniversary year.
The Run or Dye 5k event, taking place on 11 July at Kings Park in Bournemouth, will see participants dressed up and covered in eco-friendly, plant-based powered dye for the most colour-filled day of your life where you become part of the rainbow and celebrate life, friendship, fitness and fun.
Taking place on 2 May is the Electric Run at Wembley, London, and soon coming to Southampton. The run with a difference will have music pumping around the 5k course and flashing lights to create an electric wonderland.
Both events are open and one is organised by Run or Dye and the other by the Electric Run but the local Dorset community can take part and choose to raise funds to support children and adults with profound and complex disabilities, and their families.
Sharon Wells, Events Fundraiser at Diverse Abilities said: “Both these events are fun and challenging – perfect for individuals, groups of friends or family members. They will definitely put a smile on your face and it is a great way to get fit while raising money. It would be great if people chose to support us during our 60th anniversary year.”
Tickets for Run or Dye are £25.00 for individuals or £100 per team of five. Tickets for the Electric run are £34.50 per person (until 19 March) and team entries cost £30.00 per person (until 19 March).
