Get in the festive spirit and take part in a fun ‘Jingle Jog’ in aid of Dorset’s disability charity, Diverse Abilities, on Sunday 7 December. Walk, jog, hop or skip your way around the 2.3k, 8k or 10k course at Moors Valley County Park and spread some extra Christmas cheer.
Starting at 10.30am, the event is great for all the family as children, mums, dads, and grandparents can take part in this enjoyable jog.
All event participants will receive a special t-shirt and head boppers with bells on, to ensure participants jingle while they jog around the course.
Funds raised from the Jingle Jog will ensure the charity’s vital services continue over the festive period. It might be Christmas, but the charity’s services do not stop as a number of the people it supports need assistance 365 days of the year.
Sharon Wells, Events Fundraiser, said: “Join us in this beautiful woodland location and walk, jog, hop, skip or run around a choice of routes to suit you. We can guarantee you will enjoy yourself while jingling around Moors Valley Park! We want to provide the people we support a Christmas to remember and all funds raised will provide a huge amount of care for the people that use our services. It is great that those participating will have a great time as well as raising money for a cause that is vital in Dorset.”
